Event Details

Introduction:
CloudCamp was formed in order to provide a common ground for the introduction and advancement of cloud computing. Through a series of local CloudCamp events, attendees can exchange ideas, knowledge  and information in a creative and supporting environment, advancing the current state of cloud computing and related technologies.

CloudCamp Madrid is the first edition of CloudCamp in Spain, after a successful Cloudcamp-mini edition in Barcelona on December 2008.

As an informal, member-supported gathering, we rely entirely on volunteers to help with meeting content, speakers, meeting locations, equipment and membership recruitment. We also have corporate sponsors that provide financial assistance with venues, software, books, discounts, and other valuable donations.  Anyone may attend a meeting, there are no fees or dues.

Location:
A Cloud Computing community is starting in Spain and we thought that given its central location, vitality, and its dense business network, Madrid would be a great location to host the first CloudCamp in Spain.

The event will be on CAN’s offices in Juan Bravo #3. CAN (Caja Navarra) is a leading institution in supporting entrepreneurship in Spain and has offered a fully equipped location to host the presentations, and discussion groups. The networking cocktail will take place in Milford, a restaurant next to CAN offices (Juan Bravo #7).

Access:
Metro: Nuñez de Balboa (L5 - green and L9 - purple)
From the Airport: Take Metro (subway) L8 to Nuevos Ministrerios, stop in Colombia (3 stops) and transfer to L9 direction Arganda del Rey. Stop at Nuñez de Balboa (4 stops). Taxi would be around 35€
